
Crews are hustling at Le Farfalle to get the forthcoming Italian restaurant up and running soon at 15 Beaufain St. The door displays the logo, but there's still a lot going into the space right now. Le Farfalle predicted a June opening, but with two more days left in the month, that's highly unlikely.
Eater has a feeling Charleston is willing to wait for chef Michael Toscano's food however — especially after celebrity chef Mario Batali tweeted his approval of the Italian eatery opening in the Lowcountry. Toscano made a name for himself in NYC with restaurants like Perla, Montmartre, and Jeffrey's Grocery.
