North Asheville’s Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian is opening a second location, this time in South Asheville! The second Vinnie’s will be located at 1981 Hendersonville Road, in the former Iannucci's Pizzeria space. The timing of the expansion, which is slated for summer 2021, ushers in the next chapter of Vinnie’s after the original location celebrates its first ten years in business.
The restaurant has been voted “Best Italian Restaurant” 10 years in a row by Mountain Xpress, including “Best Service” and “Best Bartender” accolades to name a few. Guests will dine on old school Italian food reminiscent of classic New York and Boston red sauce joints, in an atmosphere where everyone is welcome, good food is prepared well, and dinner is an authentically social event with family and friends.
