Italian restaurant Avanti Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar announced plans May 3 to expand to a second location at 2520 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands. According to a press release, the new location comes from the positive reception of the Creekside community, where the original Avanti Kitchen and Wine Bar is located.

"We have three generations of family working together each day: myself and my brother; my mother; my father; and my father’s 84-year-old mother, Nonna Elda,” owner Enrique Orioli said in the press release. “We look forward to sharing our passion for food and culture from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, where our family is originally from."
