Italic, the downtown Italian restaurant, is turning an area of the space into a cafe for espresso, baked goods, and go-to lunches. The cafe will be found in the area that faces West 6th Street, closer to the McGarrah Jessee building.
Expect lemon olive oil cake, castagnoles, rainbow cookies, and cherry madeleines from pastry chef Mary Catherine Curren, For lunch, grab goods like salads, such as chickpea, roasted beet, orzo, sandwiches, like tomato, tuna and focaccia, available for take-out.
