Business at the family-owned Marvino's Italian Kitchen has been picking up since its grand opening in May, owner David Herrera said. Herrera runs Marvino's with his wife, Alicia, and their two sons. The family also owns Alicia's Mexican Grill and Dario's American Cuisine, which have locations throughout the Houston area.
Dishes are cooked fresh daily, Herrera said. Customer favorites include the chicken Alfredo. Herrera also recommends the chicken Marvino, which is a chicken breast topped with sauteed Gulf Coast shrimp and served with a white wine sauce and green beans.
