Villa Roma Italian Ristorante opened in the Cypress area in August serving traditional Italian dishes for lunch and dinner. Owner Bettzy Aguilar said although business is sometimes slow during lunch, the dinner shift has been busy at the restaurant through the first few months.
The eatery offers a full menu all day, specializing in seafood and steak. A lunch menu is offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some owner recommendations include the lobster capellini—a chopped lobster sauteed with garlic, white wine and tomato over angel hair pasta—and the chicken boscaiola, which is a chicken breast sauteed with garlic, capers, mushrooms, artichokes and fresh tomatoes in a sherry wine sauce.
