Even though some of us may not want to admit it, we love Italian cars. Despite their bad track record for reliability and inferiority compared to some of their other European contemporaries, Italian cars have verve and a personality that other automakers simply can't match. We tend to look past their flaws and appreciate them for what they are, although sometimes that can prove to be difficult.
We all know about the true Italian car greats. Ferrari's supercars, Alfa Romeo's sports cars and sedans, and so on. But, those are always the ones that get all the attention. The Italians have produced tons of other great cars that seem to have slipped under the radar.
