In 2025, there are 19 Legambiente Green Flags waving across the Alpine arc. These flags have been awarded to initiatives that successfully invest in sustainable tourism, agriculture, and socio-cultural projects, using environmental sustainability as a driving force.
The recognition has been granted to stories centered around three key areas—sustainable tourism, practices related to agriculture, forestry, and pastoralism, and socio-cultural projects—that illustrate the ongoing revolution in the Alpine region. Here, the goal is not only to promote the area and attract tourists but also to encourage a return to living in these lands, strengthening local communities.owns.
