
As many as 55 Italians including five women are among the 'Beautiful Mind' list of 3,200 names drawn up by Thomson Reuters of the "best and most brilliant scientific minds of our time".
Influential Italian researchers on the updated list that was last drawn up in 2001 are especially present in medicine with 15 names mentioned in that category, in pharmacology with seven names, in agrarian sciences (five names) and Space research (four names).
