Artificial teeth produced and printed in 17 minutes direct while a patient waits on the couch in the dental surgery. The unique application was launched by the Vicenza DWS (Digital Wax Systems), established in 2007, the third most important company in the world producing 3D printers.
This is the only company in Italy with capacity to develop systems for prototyping and rapid manufacturing which implement stereolithography technology. Other than creating printers dedicated to jewellery and plastic object production, the DWS has chosen to focus on the dental market.
