The application of the Politecnico di Torino to the prestigious European Laboratory on Artificial Intelligence of Data ELLIS (European Laboratory on Learning and Intelligent Systems) has been officially accepted. The Politecnico joins the most advanced universities and research centers in Europe on AI, from Oxford and Cambridge to Zurich and Tübingen.

The ELLIS laboratory, founded in 2018, promotes research of excellence in the field of modern artificial intelligence in Europe through the creation of a fellowship program identifying the best European talents, the creation of ELLIS research units in the best European academic institutions, the training of new talent and collaboration between research centers in Europe,and to build a European AI ecosystem competitive worldwide.
