Well known Dolomites are a mountain group within the Italian Alpine chain. They stretch through three regions: Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli and Veneto and include some of the most popular places in Italy for those who love snow, hiking and the mountain, both in summer and winter. However, being very extensive, it is difficult to visit them to the full, it’s better to prepare an itinerary of the places not to be missed in the Dolomites according to the season period in which you intend to visit them and to the time you have available.
They are usually divided into “zones” based on the province to which they belong; for example, the “Belluno Dolomites” are part of the territory of the province of Belluno. Each area has its most interesting places / attractions, some of which are more appreciated by families while others are suitable for those traveling alone. So let’s find out together which are the most beautiful places to discover in the Dolomites!
