
The German magazine Geo Saison has recently recognized the Italian region Emilia Romagna as the best destination for a short holiday. 245 locations applied to get the prestigious price, and Emilia Romagna won thanks to the candidature of a very small town called Polesine Parmense, that is very close to the Po river, offering an amazing culinary package.
Advertised as a "five days pig full immersion", the trip is usually organized on February and it oriented at introducing participants to the art of treating and processing pig meat. It costs 2000, and it is already sold out for 2017.
