Two Italians are among the four winners of the Expo Short Food Movie competition and have earned a chance to visit this year's world fair in Milan, organisers said Thursday. Back to the Food by Michael Donatone and Col Cibo Non Si Scherza (You Don't Fool With Food) by Francesco Fanuele and Gianluca Santoni first topped an online vote and were then picked from a 15-strong shortlist by a jury led by award-winning Turkish-Italian director Ferzan Ozpetek.
The other two one-minute features that won were My Promise by Filipino director Alfonso Orioste Jr and Mela (Apple) by Swiss Federica Tantardini. The videos will be part of a collective work of art at the Expo running from May to October: a 600-square-metre digital wall at the Zero Pavilion near the entrance to Expo.
