Italian olive oil maker Farchioni is investing in bio-dynamic, unfiltered olive oil to seize a larger share in its strategic US market, the company’s export manager said. We believe a lot in organic. We have a bio-dynamic organic farm, said Marco Farchioni, a member of the known olive oil making family from the Umbria region, in this interview with Italianfood.net.
Bio-dynamic agriculture, a more strictly regulated certification than organic, is growing in Italy as both consumers and producers want quality. At the Winter Fancy Food Show 2018 in San Francisco, Farchioni presented its Riserva line, a high-quality product made exclusively from the cultivars Frantoio and Leccino grown at the company’s farm.
