The Ferrari 12-Cylinder has been awarded the prestigious Car Design Award 2025, a coveted recognition in the automotive design sector. The Car Design Award was established in 1984 by Fulvio Cinti, founder and director for over thirty years of the magazine Auto&Design. The award honors projects that have significantly contributed to the evolution of automotive design.

Since its inception, the winners of the Car Design Award have been selected by a jury of experts, representing some of the most prestigious international automotive publications. In the history of the award, five Ferraris have been recognized in the Production Cars category: the first was the Testarossa in 1985, followed by the Roma in 2020, the 296 GTB in 2022, and the Purosangue in 2023.

That same year, the Ferrari Style Center team also won the first prize in the Brand Design Language category.

The ADI jurors awarded Ferrari because “in the design of the 12-Cylinder, the historic essence of Ferrari’s V12s from the 1950s and 1960s is condensed, reimagined with today’s aerodynamic needs, which are now a science rather than just an intuition. It’s an unbreakable bond with tradition that looks to the future, merging two souls: sportiness and elegance, making it an icon beyond the norm.”

The Ferrari 12-Cylinder draws inspiration from the Ferrari Gran Turismos of the 50s and 60s and fully embodies the mission of Ferrari’s front-engine V12s with two seats, combining elegance, versatility, and performance. It represents the latest evolution of this lineage, passing down a unique legacy and elevating it to new standards of performance, comfort, and design.
