Starting June 3, 2025, Neos, an Italian airline, will begin operating nonstop flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Bari, the capital of the southern Italian region of Puglia. This announcement marks the first-ever direct connection between the United States and this Italian region, making travel more accessible and attractive for those interested in experiencing Puglia’s rich history, culture, and landscapes.
Direct Flights to Puglia: A New Travel Opportunity
Neos, which began its North American operations in 2021, has already established connections to Milan and Palermo. However, this new route to Bari will be a game-changer, offering a convenient and direct option for U.S. travelers eager to explore one of Italy’s most picturesque and lesser-known destinations. The new flights will operate seasonally, from June 3 to October 15, 2025, aboard Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which offer both premium and economy class seating.
