Antonio Andaloro, 48 years old, is the first Italian blind chef and among the only three we could find worldwide. An interview with the Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore, the chef revealed the details of his experience that led him to his actual job.
Previously, he was a master decorator, specialized in Italian art of the 18th century. He graduated cum laude from the School of Fine Arts in Brera but even while was he was a student, cooking was among his passions. In fact, he started working as a chef but then he quit in order to focus on his career as decorator.
