ITA Airways is ready to launch its new route between Rome Fiumicino International (FCO) and Washington Dulles International (IAD), employing its newest aircraft type, the Airbus A330neo. The new route to Washington inaugurates ITA Airways’ expansion of its intercontinental network for the summer 2023 season. This expansion is supported by the introduction of the new A330neo, which will make its first commercial flight on Friday.
ITA Airways will operate five weekly flights to Washington on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. With the launch of this new route, the Italian flag carrier will now offer 54 weekly flights to the United States. During the high season, from August 1 to October 28, ITA Airways will operate daily to Washington.
