What's it like visiting a town in Italy where more than half the population has the same name as you? For actor Stanley Tucci, accompanying his elderly parents to his ancestral homeland in the southern Italian region of Calabria, it was "very emotional." The Tucci family made a pilgrimage to the town of Marzi, tucked away in the toe of Italy's boot, in one of the latest episodes of his CNN Original Series "Searching for Italy."
It was the first time the actor and his parents had visited the town since he was 12 years old, he says. "It was very emotional," he told CNN's Christiane Amanpour this week. "You know, my dad is 92, my mother is 86, and they never thought they'd go again and see those people again, and we were able to make it happen. "They had a great time, it was very moving."
