The “Champions” of Made in Italy products are also the ones with unexpressed potential. Those who could contribute to increasing Italy's share of international trade but are unable to do so due to internal limits. This is the idea behind the new “Alti Potenziali” (High Potential) project launched by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) yesterday, with a public tender for participants open until May 28.
The ITA, along with consultants selected through a European contest (Pwc and Boston Consulting) will support companies in the definition of a personalized industrial plan.
The project is set to begin with a pilot program for 30 companies from three industrial sectors: the fashion system, the home system and that of the person (including accessories, cosmetics and jewelry etc).
