High-speed broadband WiFi network is coming to Italy, in some tourist and cultural sites. The network will have a unique access system, based on the Public Digital Identity System (SPID).

While a series of experimental models are going to be set up by January in big seaside resorts, it will then be extended to the 51 UNESCO World Heritage sites, in 18 cities of culture, and in airports, ports and motorways.
