Italy has donated 45 firefighting vehicles to Ukraine. This crucial firefighting equipment just arrived in the EU's logistics hub in Slovakia, from where it will be shipped to Ukraine.
This act of solidarity couldn’t be more timely, as Europe marked Firefighters Day on May 4, paying tribute to all those who are working under difficult conditions in the EU and in Ukraine.
The delivery has been coordinated by the European Civil Protection Mechanism. Thank you, Italy
