Italy leads Europe in corporate investment in AI training – that’s the clear takeaway from the latest research. Out of nearly 5,000 professionals surveyed across nine European countries, 539 were from Italy – and Italians stood out for their proactive approach to AI learning.
A remarkable 64 % of Italian respondents are actively investing in AI skills – 26 % doing so independently, 22 % via employer programs, and another 16 % combining both routes – placing Italy at the top among European peers. This surge in learning mirrors a broader trend – the adoption of AI at work in Italy grew by 34 percentage points over a single year, jumping from 12 % to 46 %.
