In 2025, online shopping in Italy is expected to grow by 6%, surpassing €62 billion. The services sector sees an 8% increase from 2024, reaching €22 billion, while product e-commerce experiences a 6% rise, surpassing €40 billion. Within product purchases, Food & Grocery and Beauty & Pharma outpace the average growth with rates around 7%.
Other sectors like Clothing, Electronics, and Home Goods see more modest increases (between 5% and 6%), while the Automotive and Spare Parts sector shows slower growth. The online share of total retail purchases (online + offline) in product categories stands at 11.2%, a 0.5% increase from 2024.
