Jannik Sinner is among the candidates for the best Italian sportsman of 2020. The initiative of the Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport offers readers to vote for their favorite Italian sportsman for the current year. For 2020, among the six candidates, there is also Jannik Sinner, the 19-year-old South Tyrolean tennis player who has made so much attention in recent months.
Thanks to the splendid performances of this second part of 2020, from Rome to the Roland Garros, from Cologne to the triumph of Sofia, the native of San Candido has made himself known by the general public and the results are seen, also in terms of popularity. In addition to him, there are five sportsmen from different disciplines who compete for this record.
