Last July Tirana hosted the conference ‘Montessori Road – I 100 anni del Metodo Montessori. Le case dei bambini nel mondo‘ (Montessori Road – 100 Years of the Montessori Method. Children’s Homes Around the World). The event was organized by the Le Talee Association of Rome, in collaboration with the Opera Montessori of Rome and with the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Tirana.

‘Montessori Road’ is a special project from the Ministry of Culture, designed for a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Maria Montessori. The project seeks to examine the current vitality and diffusion of the Montessori method through the creation of a series of documentaries.
