Italian Habakkuk Baldonado signed in the Italian night for the NY Giants as an "Undrafted Free Agent," after the NFL Draft had ended without his name being among the selected athletes. Haba will now have an extraordinary opportunity to showcase his talents and earn a spot on the Giants' roster for the upcoming National Football League season.
It may not have turned out the way he hoped, but in the end it turned out just well: Habakkuk Baldonado signed for an NFL team, and the opportunity came at the close of the seventh round of the Draft, a phantasmagorical event held this year in Kansas City. Haba waited a long time, but his name never came up. However, as in fairy tales, a few hours later, disappointment gave way to joy when the New York Giants called offering him a contract as an "Undrafted Free Agent."!!!!
After Max Pircher (currently still with the Los Angeles Rams), Italy can rejoice for another Italian athlete landed in the NFL, although the path will not be at all easy, because to earn a place on the Team's "active" roster he will have to scramble a lot! Worried? Not a chance! Haba has shown that he has all the right qualities and character to compete at this level, and on his side will be an entire nation ready to cheer him on!
