Parma in Emilia Romagna has clinched the prestigious title of European Youth Capital 2027, thanks to its compelling initiative titled “Parma: A Great Piazza for Europe.” This achievement comes after a collaborative effort led by the City of Parma, Junior Enterprise Parma, the Parma Youth Commission, the National Youth Council, and various local, regional, and national organizations.
At the core of Parma’s vision is the ambition to bridge the generation gap and enhance the quality of life for its young residents. The year will be structured around 12 main initiatives, built along four “Paths of Transformation”—cross-cutting priorities—and eight themed “Piazzas,” each activated by a vibrant schedule of events.
