Puglia is set to reshape the digital future of the Mediterranean with the launch of the Puglia Data Center Valley, an ambitious initiative that will combine three hyperscale AI-focused data center projects with a total capacity exceeding 2 gigawatts.
The plan includes transforming a former industrial zone in Bari into a 200 MW data hub, building a new 500 MW greenfield site in Brindisi's industrial area, and developing the Adriatic DC Hub—a massive 1.5 GW campus across 2,000 acres. Once complete, this third site will be Europe’s largest data center project under construction, rivaling major global complexes like the Stargate campus in the U.S.
