For the eighth consecutive year, Rome Fiumicino Airport “Leonardo da Vinci” has been named the best airport in Europe for 2024, in the category of hubs with over 40 million passengers, based on the quality of services provided to travelers. Also once again, Ciampino Airport “Giovan Battista Pastine” was awarded “Best Airport in Europe” in the category of airports with 2 to 5 million passengers.
With a record score of 4.61 (on a rating scale from 1 to 5), Fiumicino ranks first in 2024 among all 119 European airports that participated in the survey. It is the only large international hub, alongside Singapore, to win all categories of awards. Additionally, Fiumicino, which nearly reached 50 million passengers in 2024, is the airport with the highest passenger satisfaction among airports with over 25 million annual passengers in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region and America.
