The order follows a letter of intent signed in October 2013 between Fincantieri and Seabourn, which is part of the Carnival group. According to Fincantieri, the ship, due to join the Seabourn fleet in the second half of 2016, will be built to the standards of comfort and technical refinement.
It will be about 40,350gt, 210m long and 28m wide and will carry up to 604 passengers, in 302 suite cabins, each suite having its own balcony.
