In 2014, Italy's photovoltaic plants park is the third biggest in the world, after Germany and China and before USA and Japan. This is what emerges from ANIE Rinnovabili's report which underlines that in Italy there are 648,183 photovoltaic systems for a total power of 18,325 MW, about 15% of the world global solar energy production.
ANIE Rinnovabili data show that in the last year small plants grew more: "if we cross the number of the photovoltaic systems installed in 2014 (50,571 units) with the value of the power generated (385 MW) we can see that last year the house residential plants have increased the most".
