A tiny Italian town is all set to spread Christmas cheer all through the Umbrian countryside. Hundreds of grown-ups and delighted children watched as a tablet computer switched on the dazzling display called the "The World's Biggest Christmas Tree" on a hill above the town of Gubbio.
The holiday display, which has been in the Guinness Book of World Records since 1991, uses some 1,000 lights with the shooting star on top, to light up the slopes of Mount Ingino. The shooting star at the top is made up of 250 lights and the whole display covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters.
