Good news for anyone who loves the Amalfi Coast but doesn’t love the thought of the transfers or driving time often needed to get there—United Airlines launches daily, nonstop (seasonal) service from New York/Newark to Naples, Italy, on May 22. Running through Oct. 26, 2019, it will be the only nonstop service between the United States and Naples.
“Our network planning teams are always searching for new destinations that broaden our offerings,” Jonathan Guerin, a spokesperson for United, commented in an email. “Naples is a natural extension to our existing service to Italy and we are hopeful our customers will take advantage of this new access point to southern Italy.” (United also flies to Rome, Milan and Venice from the U.S.)
