
Financial services company GWM Group has set up a new private equity fund, Armonia Italy, to invest in "Made in Italy" businesses with an investment capacity of €700 million euro, putting itself at the top of the major Italian private equity funds in direct competition with Clessidra and Investindustrial.
"We decided to launch this initiative in private equity," explains Sigieri Diaz della Vittoria Pallavicini, "because we believe in the potential of the Italian businesses, in particular those that are oriented towards export.
