Spend just a few hours at the Sound Garden in San Sperate, and you’ll witness a one-of-a-kind experience where rocks truly come alive with sound.

This remarkable place is the legacy of artist Pinuccio Sciola, who devoted his life to showing the world that stone could not only be sculpted — but could resonate, vibrate, and even perform like a musical instrument. Sciola, born in San Sperate in 1942, transformed his hometown into an open-air creative lab starting in the 1960s.
