
Half a century ago, Bulgari followed the money—at least the kind that buys jewelry—to New York. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Italian family jewelry business expansion to the United States, the brand has launched a limited-edition capsule collection of its iconic Monete collection, the U.S. Golden 50.
The Monete collection was initially the brainchild of Nicola Bulgari, who was a keen ancient Roman coin collector and launched the style in the 1970s. He combined money from antiquity with contemporary jewelry designs for a motif that has been vital for the brand.
