Welcoming remarks by Armando Varricchio, Ambassador of Italy to the United States, and Brandon Riegg, Vice President of Netflix Original Series.
This insightful talk will explain the role of media and new methods of communication - such as streaming platforms like Netflix - in promoting the rising interest in cooking as a new lifestyle by using authentic recipes and ingredients. Important aspects of the Italian cuisine, such as the evolution of culinary traditions through innovation, and the connection of Italian products and ingredients tied with specific territories will also be explored.
