If you've been paying attention to this year's NCAA Men's Division Tournament – also known as March Madness – you've probably heard of this week's Italian of the Week. Ryan Arcidiacono was born on March 26, 1994, to Joe and Patti. Both of his parents attended and met at Villanova University. Ryan grew up in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, where he practiced basketball from the time he was a small child. He continued to play the sport in high school, where he finished as Neshaminy High School's all-time leading scorer and was named as the 46th player in the country by ESPN.
Ryan began his college basketball career at his parent's alma mater: Villanova University. During his freshman year, he helped his team make it to the NCAA Tournament, and was named Rookie of the Week four times during the season. The next year, he was named Honorable Mention All-Big East and second team All-Philadelphia Big Five.
