With a name like Salvatore Patitucci, it isn't hard to determine that Mr. Patitucci is Italian. Born and raised in Italy, Mr. Patitucci followed his parents to the United States in 1960. Newly married to Elena, who was already an American citizen, the young couple settled in Aspinwall near his parents.
In 1964, he started a radio show to bring Italian music to his new hometown and 50 years later, he is still a well-known radio personality with his "Radio — Italia" Italian show from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday on station WEDO-AM (810).
