Despite the support the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) gave this year to the Italian American community, the pandemic is not over and our work is not done. If you are able, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help NIAF continue serving our community during these difficult and uncertain times. Donate here.
Your tax-deductible donation will help NIAF fulfill its mission into 2021. We want to continue serving the Italian American community, but we need your help.
Why NIAF.
Scholarships: Now more than ever, we need to support our youth as they prepare for their careers. On average, NIAF awards more than $1 million dollars annually in scholarships and grants to Italian Americans.
Supporting Italian Restaurants: Restaurants are one of the hardest hit industries during the pandemic. We have been promoting an ever-growing list of 530-plus, small family-run Italian restaurants across the United States.
Covid-19 Relief: NIAF has helped to address the critical situation in Italy, provided medical and safety guidance for Americans, and promoted various relief fundraisers that raised millions of dollars.
Recognizing Frontline Workers: This year at our virtual 45th Anniversary Gala, we honored Dr. Anthony Fauci for his heroic leadership and guidance during the pandemic. In the summer issue of Ambassador magazine, we featured healthcare workers in both the United States and Italy for their sacrifices and tireless effort to care for those stricken by the coronavirus.
Thank you.
