Following the death of Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell at 87 and the stepping down of Republican Mark E. Amodei to make room for new leaders, the Italian American Congressional Delegation is renewing its leadership.

Leading the bilateral committee will be Congressmen Rosa DeLauro and Michael Rulli, Democrat of Connecticut and Republican of Ohio, respectively. This is in fact bipartisan and consists of 200 members, some of whom have Italian ancestry. The vice chairmen will be California Democrat Jimmy Panetta and New York Republican Andrew Garbarino.
