Sylvester Stallone took home the Golden Globe for his performance in the latest installment of the Rocky franchise Creed. Stallone had last been nominated in 1976 for the inaugural film in the series as the film's screenwriter.
As Stallone walked to the stage to accept his award, he received a standing ovation from the crowd, including an enthusiastic response from Creed's star Michael B. Jordan. "I'm going to try to not get emotional," the veteran actor, director and writer said as he began his speech. "I am the sum total of everyone I've ever met, and I'm so lucky I've absorbed some of it"
