Last year, Sopranos star Vincent Pastore received the keys to the City of Cranston from Mayor Kenneth Hopkins, himself. He was in town supporting a fundraiser for The Hearts of Knightsville, a thoughtful documentary that explores the ties between the sister cities of Itri, Italy and Cranston, Rhode Island.
Pastore was spotted back in town last week, unlocking the doors to the city to drop by St. Mary’s Society. Here’s what we know about his latest visit. Bernadette Conte is the author of The Heart of Knightsville. It’s her book that inspired the upcoming documentary of the same name, directed by Tom Denucci. As the producer of the film, Conte has become close with the film’s narrator, Vincent Pastore.
