There will not be a screening this Sunday
Oh no! The San Diego Italian Film Festival must postpone the rest of the documentary series!

The Anita Laing Memorial Documentary Project, which began with an overflow house and three directors showcasing their films, is now in a state of limbo: Our previous schedule was disrupted because there are too many parking issues at the Central Library when we must compete with all the Padres home games.

Now, rather than jumble our series into a less than comfortable schedule, the Executive Director and Series Curator have decided to postpone the Anita Laing Memorial Documentary Project until after the fall festival.

While we will postpone that special documentary series, the SDIFF will still be bringing you more great documentaries in its monthly film series at the downtown locations of MOPA and the Digital Gym. Our goal is to bring to San Diego the best in contemporary Italian documentary film. There is a startling revival of documentary film making everywhere, and in Italy that takes on entirely new and important dimensions to which we want to give you an insider's view.
