Come Celebrate Enrico Caruso at Santa Clara University

For a great night of music, come to the Louis B. Mayer Theatre at Santa Clara University on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 7:30PM. Attendees will be treated to a celebration of Enrico Caruso, the world acclaimed Neapolitan operatic tenor, delivered by tenor Pasquale Esposito, actor Dino Natali and soprano Julie Adams. The evening's program will trace Caruso's footsteps through Italian opera arias, Neapolitan songs, Italian and American standards, and original compositions accompanied by captivating footage of the Amalfi Coast and Naples, Italy.

The event is presented as part of the Vari Symposium 2016, an event series in honor of Dr. Victor and Julia Botto Vari, whose Italian Studies Initiative celebrates the life and culture of Italy through the influence and contribution of Italians in our world. Tickets for general admission are $25, with $20 of each ticket is a donation going towards community-based internships in the arts and humanities.
