The secret of the happy marriage between Italian cinema and food was revealed on the occasion of Movie'n'Food, a special dinner hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute on November 13, featuring an abundant and exquisite menu inspired by the movies of Vittorio De Sica, Luchino Visconti, Federico Fellini, Ettore Scola, Giuseppe Tornatore, Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni, and Martin Scorsese.

Besides the delicious food, based on ten recipes by journalist Laura Delli Colli, author of a Secret Notebook colleting anecdotes about the relationship between movie and cinema, the evening was liven up by the performance of pianist and composer Giuseppina Torre, Italy's representative at the 2013 Los Angeles Music Awards.
