A masterclass in Italian was certainly in session at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ, where honorary professor Tony Boniello hosted the 7th Festival Italiano under the Cars & Caffe banner. Just about 100 curated cars were admitted to “The Grove” near the Havemeyer Arch, the iconic landmark of the Bergen County college.
On a day easily described as perfect, owners came from all over to park their Italian stallions amongst friends and show goers while sharing in the joy of the hobby. New food vendors this year included Alex with Von Salad, who brought his oven and sold out of pizzas, Sal with Java and Gelato, and Matt Wossum from Sunday Supper provided the VIP exhibitors, judges and sponsors with a penne vodka and mozzarella treat in the hospitality suite in the York Room at Birch Mansion.
