
U.S. premiere of Il giovane favoloso. Alessandra Mirra, University of Pennsylvania, will introduce the film with a short presentation of its subject, Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi, and his portrait by director Mario Martone. After the screening, Prof. Gaetana Marrone Puglia, Princeton University, will offer a technical analysis of the film and will discuss it with the public.
The event is organized in collaboration with Cinema Studies and PiPhilly.
